Tomorrow we slid into home

Anyone who has ever played baseball or even has watched baseball knows that rounding third is an exciting time. As the runner you have a million things running through your head: should I stop, should I go, head first, feet first, how close will it be, tie the game, win the game, loose the game, how many outs are there, what inning is it, risk it, save it - the anxiety and anticipation for the call - safe or out!

This is were I am at right now. I have a lot of anxiety about rounding third. I am happy to move and excited to be home, but I don't like the unknown, I don't like change. Right now it is very difficult for me to know that we have no idea what is coming next. Kevan is good, he is at complete piece with the whole idea.

Tomorrow we slid into home.

[On a side note: I just said good bye to the custodian that clears out my trash everyday. He is a great man and over the last few years Kevan and I have had a good connection with him. I asked him for his address so that we can send him a holiday card and keep him updated - he even gave us his telephone number in order to call him from time to time! He is one I am going to miss!]
